NEW STRATEGIES TO CHANGE OLD PATTERNS
Meet Dr. Amanda Baten
Dr. Amanda Baten is a New York State-licensed Clinical Psychologist and is certified in Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health.
She is the founder of The Center for Integrative Therapies and is in private practice in Manhattan. A trained specialist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuropsychology, and Nutritional Psychology, Dr. Baten incorporates a holistic approach to health in her practice and can provide alternatives to conventional medications that treat depression and anxiety.
Her approach is based on the premise that mind and body work together and that food and nutrition are directly related to mood, behavior, and learning. Dr. Baten provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families and is Certified in Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Dr. Baten provides a safe place to help people develop new strategies to change old patterns that are not working in their lives. She also believes that a person needs to be treated holistically to support behavioral change through eating, dietary habits, and lifestyle.
